Wolverine Robotics

ABOUT US

Team 949 Wolverine Robotics is a FIRST Robotics Team from Bellevue High School that competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Originally founded in 1994, Team 949 has participated in every FRC season since 2002. It is our goal to foster growth and awareness of engineering within our local and school community by interacting with other schools, organizations, and institutions within our region. We strive to create an engaging and accepting community in which everyone can grow and learn from each other.

WHAT IS FRC?

The FIRST Robotics Competition is a global high school robotics competition that is held annually. Also known as the “Sport for the Mind”, FRC provides an opportunity for students to learn and grow in STEM fields, while at the same time developing real life communication and management skills.

BELLEVUE ALLIANCE

Mission Statement: We will network between teams and share information to help grow and strengthen every individual involved in robotics across the Bellevue School District.

As a member of the Bellevue Alliance, Team 949 is proud to have the opportunity to work and improve with the other Bellevue School District FRC teams. We hope that this Alliance will allow all teams to improve and benefit off of each other, leading to greater success and stronger students.

Inclusivity

At Team 949, we always aim to be inviting and engaging to all. We value students who show ambition, leadership, and the curiosity to learn. All genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and religious beliefs are accepted.

We are proud to say that our team is very diverse and will continue to commit to these beliefs.
